Design for Dogs 2024

The Ori-Dog-Mi Home is a lightweight canopy structure designed for cats and up to medium sized dogs. The geodesic dome is composed entirely of folded heavy cardstock of individual triangular cells. 174 uniquely shaped triangles snap together with neighboring triangles to create the overall shape. To give an added dimension, each cell contains 3 petals to add more color and shade/shadow play. They are sized as a gradient, with larger shade petals near the top and smaller petals as it gets closer to the ground. This allows for shade from above while still allowing vision out through the middle/bottom.
