Structurology Entry Door
The design of this large custom door is inspired by the geometry of succulent plants. The pin wheel geometry is portrayed through a system of differently sized walnut dowels, both in width and length. Holes that correspond to the dowel diameters were CNC cut into the door substrate and the dowels were hand mounted into the holes.
